KDFCC is dedicated to raise cancer awareness in all communities especially the underprivileged one. We try to make people understand that only awareness can lead to early detection that can save lives.
We aim to raise awareness and encourage regular screening for cervical cancer as well as breast cancer among women.
KDFCC provides unique services of breast cancer and cervical cancer screening along with general medical check-ups to help women and their loved one.

Our volunteers went door to door and discuss the importance of screening that could save lives. This year we gave 5 seminars. KDFCC volunteers along with the support of medical team of CNCI conducted 9 medical and breast and cervical screening camps:
  • A total of 583 women were checked by gynecologists.
  • BSE (Breast Self-Exam) was performed on 471 women. CBE (Clinical Breast Exam) was performed on 24 women.
  • 3 women were detected with breast lump and 297 women were screened for cervical cancer.
  • Biopsies were taken from 21 women.
  • 17 were diagnosed with HPV positive, 3 were diagnosed with CIN1, 1 was diagnosed with CIN2 and 1 was diagnosed with CIN 3
As usual our volunteers escort the needy women to the CNCI hospital for surgery and necessary treatment. Now these women are in remission and having been advised to do the routine follow up checkups.
In addition, KDFCC also provided free general checkups as well as a program to determine blood sugar level of villagers while fasting.

This year a total of 658 people both male, female and children took advantage of these free checkups. A total of 185 villagers had their blood sugar level checked with no cost.

We provided free medicine to 503 patients, both gynecological and general.

KDFCC continued support to two students from cancer victim families by supplying books, admission fees and tuition fees so that these students can move forward for their better life.

KDFCC provided monetary support of different type of cancer patients for their treatment as well. We supported 9 cancer patients who suffer from cancer such as breast cancer, blood cancer, throat cancer, uterus cancer.

This year also our news magazine ‘Dishari’ focused on increasing cancer awareness was published and we are proud of our children who gave their time and effort to publish this magazine on time.

Our annual Rally held to raise cancer awareness and to encourage people to learn about the importance of early detection.
Approximately 200 people joined with us.

We strongly believe together we can help fight against cancer and our hope can flourish with less cancer.
